I’m a Software Architect, serial founder, musician, and dad. I build software, products, and occasionally entire mental models—usually in the zone where “this might work” meets “this will definitely end up in a postmortem.”

We’re in a strange little window where a motivated human, armed with the right AI tools, can produce the output of a well-funded startup. I’m taking full advantage—experimenting, building, teaching, and preparing for the moment the vibes shift from “copilot” to “co-founder.”

Jazz pianist. Also: yes, AI will eventually do this too. People love telling themselves “humans are special” stories. I’m not immune. I’m just less committed to the illusion.

Mentor to the next generation of engineers. For years the advice was: “learn React.” Things have changed. Now I teach engineers how to stay relevant: fundamentals, systems thinking, and AI-assisted building with taste and restraint.

I play like I code: commit to every note, iterate in public, and evolve the pattern without pretending you can design the entire solo before you play it.
